On 11 June 2012, Adolfo and Victor, of Mexico became the first dual recipients of a Crown Trust KIVA microloan.

The XL1’s sleek, two-seater design, which Volkswagon AG says owes its design cues to the Batmobile bears a striking resemblance to the decade old Bahoudii Motor Company F5 prototype design. It would appear that at least the automotive world is finally coming around to the Bahoudii way of thinking.
